MotoGP crashes

Animated line chart

Which circuit witnessed the most crashes and how does it compare to previous years?

In the following data visualisation you'll see the amount of crashes per circuit and year visualized in lines. On the x-axis you'll find the year, on the y-axis the number of crashes. Each circuit has it's own color.

By hovering above the points on the line graph you can find even more information, like the year, the circuit and the exact number of crashes that year.

If a circuit has no point in some year it means that no race took place on that circuit that year.
Click on a circuit name in the legend to hide a circuit in the chart. Click on it again to display it again.

Do you want to see a different approach?

Let's look at the data visualized as a bubble chart and compare the circuits and years there. Or would you rather see how a riders championship points correlate with his crashes? Then have a look at the radar chart.
